Presenting a revolutionary robotic loudspeaker to the professional audio marketplace
PK Sound was entering the professional audio market with a revolutionary new product, a little social media clout, and a small marketing budget to compete with the big players.
Taking a more unconventional approach, I explored how we can get the most impact out of our small launch budget. For this, I landed on CGI animation to create a product video that demonstrates the true innovation of the Trinity loudspeaker – it’s ability to direct the sound in 3D. CGI allowed more creative freedom to control the scenes and represent the abstract concepts of sound dispersion.
Utilizing the video as a leading piece of content I leveraged it’s controversial positioning as a robotic loudspeaker to industry press and key influencers. The video was circulated organically, and complimented by a robust print and media ad campaign. Leveraging existing relationships with A-list artists I co-promoted the product launch via their channels with merch contests and product surveys.
Today, Trinity holds on to the status of being one of the most unique loudspeakers on the market.
I worked closely with an animation team over the course of 3 months to bring this feature promo video to life. Since launching it has been a key piece of content in describing their technology to a new marketplace.
